While there have been lots of prototypes and discussion about fuel cells in cars, there is still doubt if they can be produced at a price point American consumers can afford. We are already in a deflationary environment where we are seeing auto sales at low for a decade or more. Right now it appears a Fuel Cell Vehicle (FCV) would cost $100,000 or more in production costs, but hopefully the cost will go down.
